Social Responsibility

As a responsible corporate entity, we believe in giving back to society. One of our key initiatives is supporting girl child education. We believe that education is a fundamental right and key to unlocking the potential of young girls. We have set up various counselling centres, sessions on skill development and many things more.

Another area of focus for us is providing food for orphans. We understand the importance of proper nutrition for growth and development, which is why we provide hot meals to orphanages. This helps provide a basic necessity for children who are in need.

Project Vidya – For Girls Education

“When you educate a girl, you educate a Nation! Every girl deserves a chance to learn. A girl’s education changes everything. An educated girl is more likely to grow up healthy, safe, and empowered to determine the course of her life and future.” By taking this in mind, from 2019 we started working on the scholarship & mentoring program for deserving girl student from the remote villages near KTFL’s factory locations. In the first three batches we had a total of 155 girls in our project while this year (2022-23) we have selected 88 deserving girls for the fourth batch of Project Vidya from orphanages across the Pune district of Maharashtra.

Project Born to Give

KTFL has started new social initiative with vision of “Nobody Should Sleep Empty Stomach.” The program is to provide healthy food to children living in orphanages throughout Pune. Later, we plan to expand this project to other cities and states all over India. Based on the Project’s success, we hope to take it to other underdeveloped countries where famine is persistent. We have taken baby steps towards our purpose by major grocery items distribution to orphan children of 25 orphanages & destitute centers. In this F.Y. (2022-23) we have reached up to 1820 orphan & destitute children.

E-Toilet Project

In addition, we also contribute to the development of e-toilets in underprivileged communities. Access to proper sanitation is a basic human right, and we aim to make a positive impact in this area. Our contributions help in constructing toilets equipped with modern technology, providing communities with a clean and safe environment. These initiatives are just a few examples of our commitment to making a positive impact and contributing to the betterment of society. At KTFL, we have initiated the project to improve sanitation facilities for girl students at schools. E-Toilet project has been started with a pledge that each child should get a proper sanitation facility at school and unavailability of toilets at school should not be the reason behind any girl dropping out from school. KTFL Management also wants to ensure that toilets built at school should be self-sustainable and should need minimum human intervention for cleaning. To achieve this objective, Kalyani Technoforge has partnered with Kalyani Cleantech, which manufactures E-Toilet.
